Alyce Graduated from Notre Dame University in 2007, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and immediately entered the field of disability, where she has now worked for 15 years.
She began her career working in peadiatrics for the Disability Services Commission, spending 5 years working with children with a range of disabilities.
After developing a strong interest in supporting individuals with their assistive technology needs, she then moved across to work in the Adult Therapy Program, where she further developed her skills working with people with disabilities across their lifespans.
In this role she was responsible for coordinating the services for individuals with highly complex needs, assessing and prescribing manual and power wheelchairs, seating systems, walking frames, alternative seating, AFO’s, sleeping systems and other items of equipment that promote 24-hour positioning. Alyce also has experience in the development of hydrotherapy programs, gym and exercise programs and intervention for mobility concerns.
Amy graduated from Curtin University at the start of 2011 with a Graduate Entry Masters in Physiotherapy. Previously she worked as a high school teacher after completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science and a Graduate Diploma in Education, but Physiotherapy called.
Amy began her career working in community Physiotherapy, seeing clients ranging from post-surgery rehabilitation, through amputee to head injury and spinal injury and associated equipment prescription for these clients. It was here that Amy developed a strong interest in working with people with disabilities. Following this, Amy worked in an aged care setting, working in a specialist pain team and specifically with clients with dementia. While doing so, she completed a diploma in Dementia Care. Amy began working with Disability Services in the Adult Therapy Team in 2017. This role involved working with clients with complex needs and assessing and prescribing a range of assistive technology and the NDIS paperwork and processes involved. Amy is adept at working with clients that are a high falls risk with mobility needs and associated assistive technology, including walkers, protective equipment, personal alarm units, custom shoes and orthotics. Amy has significant experience prescribing complex manual and power wheelchairs and associated seating systems as well as alternative seating, pressure equipment, commodes, beds and mobility equipment such as hoists and slings. Having developed a passion for increasing clients independence, especially with mobility, Amy is experienced with creating hydrotherapy and exercise programs both at home and within a gym and community setting. Amy is also trained as a FIM practitioner and can assist with Functional Capacity Assessments and other paperwork required within the NDIS setting

Over the past 10 years Catherine found her passion and has been working with adults with a disability in the community.
In her role she has coordinated the services for individuals with highly complex needs, assessing and prescribing manual and powered wheelchairs, off the shelf and complex seating, alternative seating, sleep systems, pressure mattresses and nursing beds. Experience also in transport plans, AT applications for vehicle modifications and positioning for safe travel. Sensory assessments and programs.
Catherine has worked in the NDIS framework since it was introduced to Western Australia. She is trained as a FIM practitioner and can be involved with Functional Capacity Assessments and reports for NDIS.
